We are looking for a full time Administrative Manger to join our team. This position serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to accounting & administration. This position also works hand in hand with the Human Resource department, employee relations, employee training, benefits, workers compensation, and unemployment. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated experience with preparing annual budgets and financial reports, managing monthly closing processes, and reconciling accounts. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be a motivated, positive team player with great attention to detail and strong communication skills, must be creative and thrive working in a small entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven and community oriented.

Additional Duties Will Include:

  • Recording daily transactions in an accounting system
  • Ensuring that incoming and outgoing reporting follows state and federal regulations.
  • Conducting internal audits regularly to determine whether company policies are effective.
  • Reconciling staff expenses.
  • Assist in the exploration of grant opportunities from government and nongovernment agencies.
  • Assist in drafting grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of the organization.
  • Managing the company fleet of vehicles including: maintenance, licensing and registration, monitoring drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and proper driving practices and assisting managers in compiling annual budget information and reports.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requires a BA in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or related field or working towards it with minimum of 2yrs of related financial experience or Five (5) or more progressive years in accounting /finance/business management and general operations with increasing responsibilities to the point of significant level responsibility in a similar or strongly related industry, non-profit preferred.
  • Possess experience and /or knowledge of risk management, budget planning, strategic planning, financial forecasting, and labor - related laws.
  • Must have strong computer skills, including competence with Microsoft word and excel as well as computerized accounting systems.
  • Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English
  • Successful clearance of local and or state background checks
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record.
