DESIGNATION : Administrative Officer, Nursing (Jurong West Nursing Home)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess GCE O’ level or Certificate in Business Administration
- Candidates with nursing experience would be considered favorably
- Knowledge in a healthcare setting would be an advantage
- Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative support
- Proficient in Google Workspace (e.g. Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, Gmail, etc)
- Detail oriented and meticulous
- Good communication skills (oral and written)
- Team player, open to task-switching to support the business’ needs
- Resourceful and self-directed to act on tasks
Responsibilities:
As an Administrative Officer, you will provide administrative support to the Nurse Managers and Nursing team.
- Compile and ensure accuracy of key records for ongoing monitoring and regulatory compliance/audits. Examples include
- staff training records and training hours of nursing staff
- annual mask fitting requirements, staff and nursing home residents’ vaccinations, etc
- residents’ re-admission records
- Perform regular checks on medication/ward stocks to ensure no overstocking in the wards and submit a request for replenishment
- Work closely with the Operations team to submit prescription forms and arrange for medication collection
- Coordinate with hospital pharmacist on medication order and collection
- Monitor validity of nursing certifications and co-ordinate with Nurse Managers on sending staff for re-certifications
Provide administrative support on ward rosteringProvide any other ad-hoc admin support e.g. operations admin and/or reception duties
