ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT AND BRAND SPECIALIST

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, the Administrative Support and Brand Specialist position plays a pivotal role in implementing ABC’s mission and vision by providing administrative services agency-wide.
Key Aspects of the Role:
- Provide administrative support to ABC’s central office by performing clerical duties as requested by the Leadership & Management team
- Answer, screen, and respond to information requests and route telephone calls and ABC Head Start general email account
- Provide administrative support, in collaboration with Program Supervisors, to the various sites
- Perform related clerical duties, such as data entry, word processing, maintenance of filing and recording systems
- Support event planning for the agency including but not limited to staff events, community event, leadership meetings, and annual general meetings
- Support and assist with completing grants
- Other marketing activities as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
- Post secondary training in office administration, or equivalent relevant experience in an administrative support role
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills with proficient knowledge and experience using MS Office Suite, Adobe applications, website maintenance, and other commonly used electronic business office tools
- Working knowledge of non-profit sector (asset)
Other Information:
- Regular part-time position 25 hours per week
- Security clearance with vulnerable sector is required for all newly hired employees.
- Travel to various locations
- Availability to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm
- Physical mobility to navigate different locations, including climbing stairs, walking short distances, and carrying of materials or resources as needed
