This position works relatively independently with general instruction provided by Director WellCat Counseling Center or designee. As such, this position requires excellent judgment and strong interpersonal skills to respond appropriately to sensitive, complex, and confidential situations. Administrative support includes, but is not limited to: answering phones and interacting with students, staff, and faculty in various WCS office and clinic spaces; supporting directors, managers, and administrators within WCS; event coordination; organization of common workspaces; processing student payroll; creating and tracking orders for office and other supplies; reconciling and preparing financial data; preparing correspondence and reports; tracking and maintaining referrals; scheduling appointments; and maintaining informational databases, including electronic medical record systems. Incumbent will also assist with the development and implementation of effective procedures to coordinate the operations of the front office and systematize office procedures and facilitate cross-training with equivalent positions. This position processes a large volume of electronic medical records and correspondence, which requires specialized software, as well as a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
