Cornish Lithium are seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative office Administrator. This position is available on a part-time basis, working Monday to Friday, 0900hrs to 1430hrs (with flexibility) and will be based at the Geothermal Waters Plant, United Road, Redruth.
Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide an administrative service to the United Downs team. The role, reporting to the Logistics Manager, will include all aspects of site administration:

  • Welcoming visitors, contractors and, assisting with correct Induction processes
  • Organisation of meetings, taking minutes, scheduling of appointments, and overseeing catering
  • Ordering and maintaining stationery, tea, coffee, etc.
  • Overseeing and ensuring office cleanliness – managing cleaning contract, keeping office/kitchen/meeting rooms tidy
  • Procurement and dispatch off corporate gifts
  • Assist with shipping from the LiGW Operations to global locations
  • Liaise with other site support staff and act as mutual cover for leave or periods of absence
  • General office duties to include; processing and scanning of incoming post, disposal of confidential waste, dealing with public enquries and assisting ExCo team

    We would welcome applicants with the following attributes:
    NVQ Level 2 or above in Business Administration or equivalent qualification

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Site /Office admin experience.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of the organisation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-starter.
  • Ability to work on own initiative, pro-active.
  • Strong competence in IT.
