REQUIREMENTS

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Nursing Home Administrator credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing Home Administrators obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experiencerequired, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate’s degree/Bachelor’sdegree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those yearsbeing in leadership/management.

Oversee the operational effectiveness of assigned facility.

• Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies related to the assigned facility.
• Ensure that facility is in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Monitor care delivery to determine changes that may be needed to improve outcomes and service standards.
• Review data to identify performance improvement opportunities.
• Develop, implement and monitor operating budgets for areas of responsibility.
• Direct and coordinate activities of all medical, nursing and administrative staff and services.
