Description:
We are seeking an exceptional individual for the role of Administrator (Operations Support) to work within our Operations Support Team. You will play an integral role in providing administrative support across a broad and diverse portfolio of work. You should have excellent administrative, IT and organisational skills and experience of supervising staff. The Team works closely with the Dean of School, Head of Operations, Team Leaders and the Heads of our five academic departments to provide them with a high level of administrative support for their managerial responsibilities in areas such as Human Resources (including staff recruitment, induction and training); usage and maintenance of estates; governance structures and regulatory requirements, such as committee secretariat, health and safety; provision and analysis of management information and support for the strategic planning process.
As the recognised point of contact for day-to-day enquiries, you will manage queries directly and prioritise actions. This will involve liaising and networking with other professional services and academic staff across the School and wider University and with external stakeholders. You will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and take pride in providing a service that exceeds expectations.
You should have three GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics.
