Role overview
You will work alongside the the Talent Partners and Group Talent Manager, providing administrative support to the Talent Team. The post holder will act as the first point of contact for on-boarding and manage this process through to completion, enabling the delivery of a consistent and efficient recruitment journey to candidates. The talent coordinator will be involved in maintaining compliant Pre-Employment Checks via the Single Central Record. This is a heavily administration based role and will require meticulous attention to detail and accuracy whilst working at pace.
Responsibilities
Be responsible for the Pre-Employment Check (PEC’s) process and documentation for new hires - ensuring all safeguarding checks are adhered
Processing and recording Right to Work Checks for new employees
Proactively escalate issues and potential issues that may cause delay to start dates
Manage accurately the Single Central Register spreadsheets
Comply with internal audits information requests from the Compliance Business Partner
Provide support and coordination to related services for hiring managers, talent team members, and
Forge close working relationships with school principals / head teachers and department heads to ensure PEC’s are completed in a timely manner
Occasional travel to all school sites
Previous experience working within HR or Recruitment compliance is beneficial however full training will be given so experienced administrators are invited to apply. The is a maternity cover offered on a 9 month fixed term contract initially. Training will take place at out head office on Cambridge and will then be on a hybrid working arrangement, one day per week on Cambridge or one of our schools and the rest of the time working from home.
Person Specification
Exceptionally organised with a keen eye for detail
Able to manage varied workload with multiple deadlines
Experience of Onboarding / Pre-Employment Checks (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to effectively and confidently manage multiple projects and stakeholders
Adaptable, able to efficiently move between projects while supporting the ever-evolving needs of the Talent Team and wider group
Team player and culture champion
Experience of Word, Excel and Office 365
Understanding the education sector would be beneficial but not essential
