POSITION SUMMARY:

The Admissions Nurse will primarily be assigned to admissions documentation and follow up, however they may also need to float to the floor in an emergency. I would also anticipate other nursing administration duties may be assigned as needed.
PM Shift - Works a rotation to include some weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS: IF YOU MEET THE BELOW – PLEASE APPLY!!

  • Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse license valid in California
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Nursing or similar Facility preferred
  • Customer service and emotional maturity – ability to remain calm and kind in all situations
  • Outstanding communication (verbal and written), and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Observe, document and report on symptoms and any change in conditions of assigned patients/residents
  • Take and record temperatures, respiration and pulse
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, recording results/outcomes
  • Set up treatment trays, clean and prepare equipment as needed and directed by DON
  • Maintain accurate, understandable patient care records and other clinical documentation
  • Identify process, or other facility issues, offering solutions for improvements to DON or Administrator in a professional collaborative manner
  • Lead by example in supporting a kind, collaborative and supportive work environment
