EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • A post-secondary degree in a related field with three or more years of recent and relevant experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with empathy, understanding, and respect of diverse and divergent perspectives, behaviours, and experiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to navigate difficult and complex conversations with applicants, students, faculty, and staff.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment; a creative and resourceful problem solver
  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively within tight timelines and competing priorities.
  • Friendly and energetic with excellent communication skills
  • Prior experience working with a Student Information or CRM (e.g. Banner) is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrate excellent computer skills and proficiency with statistics
  • From time to time, travel may be required to meet with students and stakeholders
  • RISIA or RCIC certification considered an asset
