This large, family-founded healthcare group are searching for an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join their GP Practice based in Minehead. This company have been delivering exceptional patient care for over 15 years and are dedicated to their strategy and vision to deliver healthcare differently, whilst making a difference to the communities that they serve.
As a successful Advanced Clinical Practitioner for this role, you will be the first point of contact within the practice for patients presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems. You will have the opportunity to make autonomous decisions in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients within the community. Whilst you will be working autonomously, you will be working with and supported by the wider NHS Services Leadership team and Support Centre teams collectively. You will also be working closely with the Lead Nurse to be accountable for the clinical governance of the practice to ensure safe and effective delivery of services to all patients. As a successful candidate for this role, you will have had previous experience within a Primary Care setting.

Requirements for the position
Valid registration with the NMC/HCPC/GPhC
MSc in Advanced Practice
Non-Medical Prescriber
Previous Primary Care experience alongside experience in Minor Illness Management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Friendly and can-do attitude.
Ability to work productively in a high pressured environment.
Location
This GP Practice is based in Minehead, commutable from Tiverton, Wellington, South Molton, Dulverton, Withypool, Williton and Bossington.
