Advanced Mental Health Clinician (Care Pathway Project Lead)

About the role
Fixed term temporary full time opportunity for 14 months.
This role will coordinate the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of a Care Pathway for Early Psychosis across Metro North Mental Health (MNMH). This pathway will support MNMH to provide optimal care and assistance to individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis (including substance induced psychoses), regardless of their age, as well as their families and caregivers. The role will support the provision of clinical interventions by Early Psychosis teams as required.
About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health’s values:

• Engage and support a Working Group with representation from Adult Mental Health, CYMHS, ADS, Consumer and Carer representation, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representation, CALD, LGBTI, Research and Evaluation team, and educational provider groups.
• Engage with an education provider to create a training package to support the implementation of the MNMH Early Psychosis Care Pathway.
• Utilising change management principles to ensure successful implementation of the MNMH pathway through staff training and education, liaison with clinical leads, team leaders, and nurse unit managers.
