Description:

The role Reporting to the Director, Community Pharmacy Pilot Program, you will leverage your advanced professional knowledge and clinical skills to provide advice on medication safety and quality improvement activities for priority community pharmacy projects. These projects aim to increase access to high-quality health services for communities across Queensland and are among the first of their kind in Australia.
This role will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality policy and project outcomes and will be responsible for coordinating and delivering a range of quality improvement and quality and safety activities that optimise outcomes for community pharmacy projects.

The successful candidate must demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge, strategic thinking, and data-informed decision-making abilities to lead medication safety and compliance initiatives. They will design and monitor solutions to enhance medication safety and quality standards for pharmacy projects and will show advanced knowledge and expertise in evidence-based clinical practice and quality improvement activities within risk management and quality improvement frameworks.
Lastly, the successful candidate will have high-level interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated through their ability to negotiate, manage conflict, and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders to achieve quality outcomes for patients and ensure high standards of clinical service delivery. This includes providing advice regarding medication safety to a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Please note that this position requires possession of a tertiary degree in Pharmacy and registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia in partnership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
