Job Summary:
The Advanced Specialist Raw Materials Procurement is responsible for the strategic sourcing, and supply management of raw materials. This role requires a team player who can develop and implement sourcing strategies, and associated supply chains, to ensure the availability, cost-efficiency, and quality of raw materials necessary for production. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to optimize procurement processes and drive value.
Responsibilities:

• Function as the procurement lead for a portfolio of specialty raw materials for the Engineered Materials (EM) business, in Europe
• Develop, communicate and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for raw materials which provide Celanese’s businesses with a competitive advantage in terms of total cost and supply reliability
• Identify and qualify new suppliers to ensure a robust and competitive supply base
• Negotiate contracts/ frame agreements or price agreements with suppliers to achieve the best value for the business
• Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards
• Implement supplier development initiatives to improve performance and innovation
• Analyze cost drivers and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
• Support new product development by sourcing and managing the supply of materials in line with project timelines
• Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to drive procurement initiatives and projects
• Utilize data insights to drive decision-making and improve procurement processes
