Responsibilities:

We are currently on the lookout for someone to join our team as an Advisor – Tauira Support on a Permanent full-time basis based in Huntly however, would need to be flexible to provide support to our Hamilton campuses when required. The hours of work are worked around class schedules, so you will need to be available some weekends and evenings.
As our Advisor – Tauira Support, your primary responsibility is to provide professional support services tailored to meet the individual needs of our tauira. You will work closely with tauira, addressing various challenges they may encounter and guiding them towards successful outcomes.
As a pillar of support, addressing a wide range of issues that our tauira may face, including academic challenges, attendance issues, career guidance, enrolment procedures and more. You will actively engage in problem-solving and barrier removal to foster an environment conducive to learning and growth. You will also communicate with fellow advisors and kaimahi to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting our tauira and achieving positive outcomes.
