Description:

Help Dell Technologies customise solutions for customers with a role on our Solutions Principal team. On this team, you’ll guide the analysis, design, and development of solutions for customers, provide technical support and direction to sales teams in the field and assure the compatibility of these solutions with customer systems and strategic business plans.

What you’ll achieve
The Solution Principal role is a strategic, creative, outgoing pre-sales professional with a passion for technology evangelism, sales, and custom solution development. Our Solution Principal lives in the global ecosystem between sales leadership and services delivery as a lead strategic partner. You will be architecting and evangelising Gen AI technology solutions across multiple sales teams here at Dell Technologies.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science and hands on experience with IT Transformation concepts
  • Deep level of Gen AI knowledge and experience
  • Understanding of emerging technologies, trends and solutions (such as AI/ML and Data science, Converged and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure, Public or Private Clouds, X-as-a-Service).
  • Excellent communication skills including active listening, proposal and statement of work writing, and delivery of white board or formal presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, highly matrix organization with a strong desire to lead diverse teams thru multiple sales campaigns to completion.
  • A strong and persuasive sales-oriented personality that can partner with and influence cross-functional stakeholders from Sales Teams, the Solutioning Team and Delivery Teams to position and win services business.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10 years of pre-sales support and/or delivery experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel throughout the country (and APJ region) to support sales campaigns, customer briefings, and training. In addition, some of our multi-national customers have operations outside the assigned region and travel may be required to those locations.
