From the seabed to outer space, you can contribute to work that matters with a company where diversity, equity and inclusion are shared values. We’re committed to fostering an environment for every teammate that’s welcoming, respectful and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growth. Find your future with us.
Boeing’s presence in the UK is growing through our UK High-Lift Aerodynamics Collaboration Centre (HiLACC), based at the 5 metre wind tunnel at the Cody Technology Park, Farnborough, UK. The HiLACC Flight Sciences team is a direct extension of the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Flight Sciences team in Everett, WA, USA.

The role on offer is for a 3-month summer Aerodynamics Engineering Intern to start in June/July 2024 supporting the Flight Sciences work at the HiLACC. The intern will be actively involved in contributing to aerodynamics research in areas including (among others):

  • Aerodynamics and sustainability research.
  • Low-speed aerodynamic testing.
  • Development and utilisation of analytical predictive capabilities (such as CFD, etc).
  • Analysing high-lift aerodynamic performance.
