Description:
YOUR MISSION
- Generate geometric designs with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for the volume and mass optimization of components for highly integrated battery systems within the wing of the VÆRIDION Microliner.
- Design and analyse fluid systems, including pipe flow for thermal management of battery systems.
- Conduct FEA and CFD studies (thermal, mechanical, electrical, thermomechanical, etc.) on various battery module components to find the optimum manufacturing, geometric, and/or material solutions.
- Participate hands-on with the manufacturing and assembly of components for testing, prototypes, and demonstrators. This will involve preparing specimens for thermal runaway testing as well as interactions with external machine shops, rapid prototyping, adhesive bonding, simple composite manufacturing, etc.
- Interface directly with material suppliers, manufacturers, and testing partners.
