JOB MISSION:

We’re looking for an Affiliate and Partnership Specialist within the EMEA Direct to Consumer organisation headquartered in Houthavens in Amsterdam and working across all the EMEA websites. Reporting to the Affiliate and Partnership Lead and assisting our two agencies, you are responsible for growing and nurturing affiliate relationships creating successful and long-lasting partnerships to exceed the Ecommerce targets.
As an Affiliate and Partnerships specialist, you will be accountable for everything that affiliate marketing entails; from recruiting new partners, maintaining relationships, and optimising for growth, while also making sure that every commercial outing follows the brand values of the New Balance vision.
We are looking for someone with a commercial attitude; someone who is data-driven, results results-orientated, and who takes a proactive approach to finding creative ways to generate leads and conversions.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Identify and actively recruit new affiliate partners.
  • Develop and monitor affiliate promotions, ensuring the best site placements and maximum exposure for maximum return.
  • Work closely with the Affiliate Marketing agency to review weekly reports, and take actions based on those insights.
  • Collaborating with Trading, Operations, Analytics, and CRM teams to integrate ecommerce priorities into the affiliate strategy.
  • Testing, reporting, optimising, and analysing channel performance to identify key levers and opportunities for improvements.
  • Collaborating with Global Ecommerce and Regional Brand Marketing teams to align on the right content to push, for the right audiences.
  • Working closely with Affiliate networks.
  • Working closely with the design team to brief and request campaign materials.
  • Drive innovation and top industry best practices to the channel.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Ability to identify opportunities for great partnerships that align with New Balance’s brand and business objectives.
  • Experience working with affiliate networks is desirable.
  • You have an understanding of influencer marketing and what content works effectively on social channels aligned with this.
  • High attention to detail and a willingness to improve processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills, ability to communicate your ideas and convince an audience using data and visual storytelling.
  • Agile and proactive, ability to respond to changing market conditions and consumer behaviour.
  • Fluency in English and other European languages is an advantage.
  • Clear understanding of, and passion for, sneaker/fashion/youth culture and sports and a natural brand guardian.
