If you answered yes and great, you’re in luck MacKillop is currently seeking a full-time After-Hours Support Worker to join the team in Warrnambool with our National After-Hours Service.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid and Current Driver’s Licence
  • Valid and Current Workers With Children’s Check
  • Valid and Current NDIS Workers Screeners Check
  • Satisfactory Criminal History Check
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Residential Care,
  • Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.

Responsibilities:

The After-Hours Support Worker is a critical part of our service and means that we are always able to support our clients right round the clock. Our Young People require you to be able to support their emotional, social and behavioural needs, which means you need to flexible, adaptable, able to build rapport and open to learning as no two shifts will be the same. Working on computers and completing administration tasks will be required on your shift and in this position, you will be collaborating with case workers, residential care staff, service providers and families.
