The Aftermarket Sales Representative proactively sells parts and service business for new and existing accounts through lead generation, personal and phone contacts. They are responsible for developing new accounts, recovering lost accounts and managing established accounts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED). University or college degree preferred
  • Previous experience in business to business sales, and/or industry experience
  • Expected to learn and gain competency with Microsoft Dynamics 360 (CRM) to pre-call plan, document sales strategy, manage all accounts sales activity
  • Must successfully manage an assigned Book of Business (BOB)
  • Competency in the following areas: customer/client relations, time management, organizational skills, proficiency with computers; Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

  • Driver’s Abstract

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance of all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations, as well as the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
  • Fully learn and sell all Aftermarket products and offerings including but not limited to Parts and Service, Contract Maintenance, technology innovation products and Rush Enterprise’s RushCare offerings (Service Connect and Parts Connect).
  • Demonstrate competency with systematic selling including pre-call planning, investigating sales opportunities, offering Rush specific solutions and closing business sales
  • Promote multiple Parts product categories and specific Service repair types
  • Sell ‘All Makes’ Parts and Service, beyond proprietary brands
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive account specific growth strategies for all products offered.
  • Fully engage and attend company, market or vendor driven sales blitzes, trade shows and annual job specific employee and customer events
  • Participate in off site training and development
  • Other related duties as assigned by management from time to time
