We are seeking an Aftersales Business Development Manager to join our team here at General Motors Australia & New Zealand (GM ANZ). Your purpose is to foster and maintain strong connections within the GM ANZ network of GM Specialty Vehicles (GMSV), Holden & ACDelco Service and Parts Operations, you will nurture strong process and business growth across all portfolios, as well as create, execute and maintain business development strategies to maximise performance. You will manage the Queensland region and work closely with Dealer Principal’s and leadership to ensure a customer centric and output driven culture.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work alongside key business partners to develop and implement activities, processes and action plans to improve overall operation and output in line with the current key business objectives including: Service Lane Output, Customer Satisfaction, Stock Effectiveness, Part Sales & GM Trade Parts Performance and Growth.
  • Be the primary contact for GM Trade Parts activities at partner sites with the focus being to broaden customer exposure to ACDelco all makes parts.
  • Optimise the working relationships between various departments within our GMANZ partners.
  • Understand and use the GM ANZ dashboards and CRM tools across all relevant departments to drive effective and productive actions.
  • Regular benchmark and performance analysis around Customer Retention, Parts Sales, NPS and other GMANZ performance criteria.
  • Critically analyse partner efficiencies in service booking, customer handling and workshop and parts stock management.
  • Assist in the development of strategies to lift Aftersales efficiencies.
  • Take an active role in the management of escalated customer care cases and represent GMANZ at respective state tribunal hearings if required.
  • Ability to critically analyse service and parts department’s ability to effectively sell genuine GM and ACDelco products and services.
  • Review, advise and monitor activities associated with the retail and wholesale sides of the operation at our partner sites by being their primary contact.
  • Identify new opportunities through proactive networking.
  • Develop effective action plans to address key business objectives, targets and program focus.
  • Ensure Direct Parts Outlets (DPO) are compliant and effective with stocking policies and obsolescence requirements.
  • Utilise the online contact reporting system to document GMANZ partner engagements.
  • Develop, apply and monitor specific performance improvement plans where necessary.
  • Have an understanding of aftersales and dealer operation and an ability and willingness to build relationships and influence outcomes.
