What you’ll do:
Operating in a diverse and highly competitive retail environment, the Ag Mechanic is responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs and scheduled maintenance work on Ag equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and inspect equipment for faults and malfunctions.
• Repair and adjust equipment and replace defective parts.
• Perform updates, pre-season delivery inspections and pre-season inspections.
• Complete work orders and help the shop mechanic.

• Adhere to all occupational health and safety standards as the company is committed to the protection and wellness of its employees.

  Who you are:

• You have excellent Guest service skills and proven communication skills (written and verbal).

• You are able to work independently or as part of a Team.
• You have 1 – 3 years of mechanical experience in agricultural mechanics, heavy duty mechanic or diesel mechanic experience.
• You have class 5 Drivers’ license.
• Class 1/Class 3 considered an asset but not essential.
• You may be required to work longer hours especially during the busy season.
• Ability to commute/relocate (8 miles east of Brandon or 2 miles west of Douglas).
