We are seeking a Part Time (4 days) Agency Communications Manager based in Sydney OR Melbourne to support these individual companies and agencies in elevating their brand presence in their respective fields, to attract new clients and an unfair share of the best talent.
The Agency Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a bespoke marketing and communications program for each organisation, which is aligned with their business objectives. They will be expected to monitor and analyse the effectiveness of communication strategies, using data and insights to refine and optimise each organisation’s activities over time.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of the communications landscape in Australia, including new and emerging media platforms, and happenings in business, politics, media and community.
  • Effective use of all available marketing and communication touchpoints and formats.
  • Understanding of best practices in leveraging speaking opportunities as content creation.
  • Strong writing skills and an understanding of how to engage and influence audiences.
  • Use of basic Content Management Systems for digital and social media platforms.
  • Ability to liaise confidently with company executives, media and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing and communication strategies to enhance each agency’s industry profile, aligning with Clemenger Group’s purpose and broader promotional efforts.
  • Generate meaningful media coverage (earned and paid) through proactive outreach to outlets which are favoured by our clients’ decision-makers and prospective talent for our agencies.
  • Leverage each agency’s thought leadership efforts to gain access to earned media opportunities, speaking opportunities and other platforms.
  • Oversee and manage each agency’s websites, ensuring they are up-to-date, engaging, and reflective of the agency’s brand.
  • Maintain and curate content across social media platforms to enhance online visibility and engage each agency’s communities.
  • Identify and pursue relevant industry awards and recognitions, including preparing and submitting award nominations to showcase each agency’s achievements.
  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies to positively impact employee experience, and keep employees informed and engaged.
