Description:

We are seeking an experienced Iteration Manager to perform the following key responsibilities within our State Government client’s teams:

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, iteration planning, reviews, retrospectives) and manage the backlog.
  • Support self-managed teams by removing impediments and managing dependencies.
  • Track sprint progress, maintain flow, identify risks, and recommend solutions.
  • Ensure team alignment with priorities, strategy, and roadmaps.
  • Assist in planning and delivery of the team/project work portfolio.
  • Collaborate with project managers, technical leads, and product owners to keep the team focused.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Experience as a dedicated iteration manager/scrum master.
  • Strong understanding of agile behaviours, tools, and techniques to lead/coach teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, conflict management, negotiation, and influencing skills.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Certified Scrum Master.
  • Experience with project management tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Prior experience as an iteration manager in a complex IT environment within a large organisation.
