Agile Product Owner Provisioning

About the Role
In line with Division objectives, under instructions/controls of a manager, to monitor, supervise and coordinate a team responsible for the design, development, delivery and /or maintenance of IT solutions/products. To support management in the coordination, consolidation, evaluation and monitoring of a specific IT domain.
The mission of the squads in the provisioning cluster is to implement and maintain SWIFT provisioning systems. These systems support the Swift provisioning process whereby information submitted in customers’ orders is processed and pushed to Swift production systems.
The provisioning cluster gathers 3 squads, currently supervised from HQ (Belgium), with squad members located in HQ and in our delivery center in Kuala Lumpur. We are now evolving the cluster organization with the creation of an autonomous squad in Kuala Lumpur which will deliver its own share of the provisioning scope, leveraging the already existing provisioning skills in this location.
In this context, we are looking for a Product Owner to set up and operate this squad in Kuala Lumpur.

What to Expect?

• Set up the squad and start the delivery from the KL office, in coordination with the Cluster PO and the other PO’s of the cluster,
• Put in place the squad structure and delivery organization
• Initiate the end-to-end delivery of the initial scope of the squad
• Organize the gradual scope ramp-up
• Lead the squad and deliver the defined part of the provisioning scope, which includes aspects such as:
• Backlog prioritization and management.
• Priority setting in line with cluster and tribe priorities.
• Engaging deeply with the internal customers.
• Aligning with the cluster on the dependencies and transversal activities.
• Engaging with tribe chapter leads to ensure you have the required expertise and capacity in your squad, in line with cluster budget.
• Acting as a servant leader towards your squad members

What will make you successful?

Skills and expertise

• Experience as product owner or in other leading roles in an agile context
• Good understanding of major software delivery phases (analysis, development, qualification, user acceptance testing, deployment) in an agile environment.
• Ability to adequately engage with internal customer and users.
• Good facilitation and negotiation skills, allowing to have constructive and productive discussions with stakeholders.
• Strong planning capabilities
• Good understanding of IT concepts and ability to discuss with developers.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Experience in project management of a major IT delivery project in an agile context is a strong asset.
• Experience in SAP is a strong asset but not a must.
• Jira expertise is a plus.
• Experience with the Swift delivery process is a plus.
