• Three years’ experience working in agribusiness, as a practitioner, Agribusiness Manager or equivalent
• Three years’ experience managing distressed agribusiness loans
• A rural background with experience living and working with rural communities, including an appreciation of the unique challenges faced by agribusinesses
• A deep understanding of a specific industry sector (e.g. grain, cotton, beef) and the ability to adapt that experience to comfortably work across other agribusiness sectors
• Experience in working with customers in hardship, having a strong focus on empathy and customer service and an appreciation of the sensitivities surrounding agribusiness (such as the impact of drought and other external factors; intergenerational connection to the land).
