Your background in commerce, finance or banking, including lending, credit or deposit areas will give you the right grounding, and your understanding of agriculture and farming will see you thrive in this role. Experience working as a banking/customer relationship manager in agriculture or agribusiness is advantageous but not essential: we have excellent training and development to build your knowledge.
You are deeply customer centric, have a curious mindset and like to ask questions, learn and grow personally and professionally. You enjoy networking and building relationships in the community that you’re serving.

As an Agribusiness Relationship Manager , you’ll get to :

  • Support a mature portfolio of high value agribusiness customers in Wangaratta, Mansfield, Alexandra and the surrounding region.
  • Identify ways to appropriately assist customers to access finance to grow their business and in turn their communities and regional wealth.
  • Prepare concise, accurate and timely loan proposals and reviews whilst ensuring the quality of credit assessment and ongoing management is maintained.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Business Influencers by proactively networking and developing new relationship with potential future customers.
  • Increase market share in target markets and identify opportunities for deepening customer relationships and referring opportunities to our partners.

This is a full time, permanent position. We offer flexible work options that put our people first, and a hybrid model of two days per week based out of the Wangaratta office, however you will regularly travel by vehicle to visit customers on farm and attend field days and networking events. Given you will travel over 15,000kms/pa this role qualifies for a company provided vehicle.
