Description:
Overview:
Hexagon’s Autonomous Solutions division is looking for a Test Engineer, Agriculture to lead the testing of hardware and software for our Agriculture products in the spaces of GNSS, GPS, Inertial Navigation Systems, Vehicle Navigation, Tractor Steering and Guidance, Precision Agriculture, Sensor Fusion and Camera based navigation. Reporting to the Agriculture Test Engineering Manager, you will be an individual contributor responsible for executing software and systems test practices while maintaining and expanding the Test Infrastructure depended on by the engineering groups. This role offers the chance to deliver step changes and utilize modern technologies and practices.
The Location: Hexagon is a global company with offices around the world. This position is based in Calgary, AB.
Responsibilities:
As a Agriculture Test Engineer, your responsibilities include:
- Design and implement both automated and manual software testing suites for Hexagon Autonomy & Positioning ‘s agriculture products
- Promote and lead our best practices across software and systems testing
- Define, develop, and carry out test processes and tools
- Test all software delivered as per defined test schedules and processes including documentation
- Participate and contribute to Hexagon A&P’s test engineering community of practice
- Develop, iterate, monitor, and report performance and contextual metrics
- Create data characterization models using statistics, mathematics, and data analytics. Participate and provide contribution to Hexagon A&P’s Test Engineering Community of Practice
