Responsibilities:

  • Provide sales and marketing support to the sales team
  • Work with sales staff and Branch Managers on key accounts to enhance sales of Division within the Division
  • In conjunction with the Product Line and Branch Managers, develop marketing strategies and product information programs
  • Identify agronomic service opportunities and develop and implement plans in support of these
  • Gather, compile, analyze, interpret and communicate market research information
  • Represent the company at trade shows and association meetings
  • Assess employee skills/abilities on agronomic experience and provide related training as necessary
  • Provide agronomic information and recommendations to staff and producer customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with various government and private industry personnel
  • Provide agronomic advice for Loveland and Proven products and assist with legal proceedings
  • Support and assist the Echelon portfolio of services
  • Work with Product Line Managers, Directors, Division and Branch management to lead the strategic direction of the proprietary product lines’ (ie Proven Seed, Loveland Products, etc.) objective with the Retails
  • Develop and facilitate internal agronomic training programs and materials for Nutrien staff
  • Manage and execute Proven Seed, Loveland Products and others as may be require from time-to-time on farm trails, including plot tours for customer and staff as well as data collection
