Description:

Skin Analytics is a multiple award-winning digital health company that has launched the world’s first artificial intelligence (AI) supported Skin Cancer pathway for a faster skin cancer diagnosis. Our flagship product, DERM, can be used from a smartphone in hospitals to significantly reduce waiting lists, by nurses in primary care to find more cancer, and by patients directly in their home.
We want to build a future where no one dies from skin cancer.
To achieve this, we work closely with hospital trusts, integrated care systems (ICS), primary care networks (PCN) and health insurers Vitality and Bupa. Our platforms help patients access dermatology services quicker, and save clinicians time in diagnosing and managing skin cancer and the many benign conditions which appear in these pathways.
Our evidence based AI has been through rigorous clinical trials, and is regulated as a medical device (AIaMD) with a proactive post-market surveillance process which means we are able to demonstrate performance in our real world deployments.
We have been scaling our partnerships and with that comes the need to further invest in our Clinical team. We are looking for a trusted, assertive and resourceful person to help us across a range of activities including post market surveillance, supporting discussions with prospective and current partners and creating materials to share with the clinical community highlighting the safety and efficacy of DERM.

REQUIREMENTS

We are excited to offer this role as a 12-month fellowship, designed to offer exposure to a range of different functions within the business, supporting teams including; product, operations, business development and AI.
We believe that the best way for digital health technologies to succeed is by taking clinicians on the journey with us and building trust and confidence. Skin Analytics supports clinical pathways, runs clinical services and builds medical devices. Therefore, it is crucial that we have a strong clinical team within the organisation.
We are seeking candidates who strongly believe in AIaMD technology within healthcare, and are looking for their first opportunity to enter the digital health field.
There is no requirement for prior industry experience outside of clinical medicine. The role is perfect for someone just starting their clinical career. In addition to believing that DHTs can support clinical care, this individual is eager to be involved in the validation of these technologies in real-life settings
We recognise the value in digital health clinicians continuing to practice front-line medicine and would be happy to consider candidates on either a full-time or 4-day per week basis. Unfortunately, we will not be able to consider candidates who cannot commit to this.
