JOB DESCRIPTION
NEX SW OpenVINO Developer Tools group is looking for a AI Software Validation Intern to join the team responsible for testing features of future deep learning platforms and appliances from the OpenVINO ecosystem.
As a part of the team, you will work with the newest software solutions based on Docker and Kubernetes utilizing AI HW developed in Intel. You will contribute to the validation of our products and integration with other tools from OpenVINO ecosystem, design test cases based on functional requirements and performance guidelines, work on products in the Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning domain, write code for automated tests, mainly in Python, and perform manual validation of the platform and documentation.
Candidate profile:
It is a perfect qualification if you naturally tend to break things and see errors everywhere. Curiosity (the person that I saw in fast-food chain that checked how many burgers can be ordered via kiosk - we need you, please apply), creativity and attention to details are crucial part of this job. What you will do:
Contribute to the validation of the platform based on Kubernetes and DockerContribute to internal validation portal development designed in DjangoDesign test cases based on functional requirements and performance guidelinesValidate developer and user documentation, including examples of execution and automationWork on products in the Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning domainWrite code for automated tests, mainly in Python and PyTestPerform manual validation of the platformWork in a team exercising agile processes use benefits of continues integration participate in planning sessions and retrospectives etc.
Who are we looking for?
At Intel, our internships are usually around 12-24 months long, and you’ll be with us part-time alongside your university degree to support your educational and professional development at the same time. We ask that all applicants are current university students and will remain students during the length of our internship.
QUALIFICATIONS
No professional experience is required, although basic Python skills and knowledge about Linux operating system are needed to succeed in this role.
Important for us:
- Personal interests and/or hobbies in the area of Artificial Intelligence or deep learning, or even our great product OpenVINO, is not required but will give you a valuable advantage,
- Fluent English (written and verbal) - at this role you will be working with user documentation and you will work in an international environment
- Personal interest in design, aesthetics and creativity
- Basic programming Python skills
- Knowledge of Linux operating system e.g. Ubuntu,
