Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement the processes, methods and tools supporting the A220 product lifecycle management, as well as the future transformation and integration into the Airbus PLM ecosystem, in order to increase the efficiency of Airbus Canada and the performance of the A220.
  • Support the definition and set up Configuration Management Methods, Processes and related Tools that define, plan, schedule and organize CM activities in the program/project context over the entire lifecycle.
  • Work closely with product owners and IT teams in cross-functional teams to define requirements, support tool development and documentation, run tests and approve changes to processes, methods and tools.
  • Act as knowledge owner for the engineering product definition volume to maintain the content of the manuals and respond to questions and needs from the design community.
  • Participate in the activities of the processes, methods, tools and operations support team and act as a focal point for product definition to help the team deliver agile and flexible services to all stakeholders.
  • Lead complex engineering missions requiring expertise and knowledge of several areas of engineering ranging from design to in-service support, applying the highest industry standards in terms of configuration management, product development processes, governance and integration of data, ERP and PLM systems.
  • Report on your projects: detailed planning, progress monitoring, risks and opportunities identification, internal and external stakeholders management, knowledge transfer and ensure delivery of training to internal and external users.
  • Understand and analyze the needs of internal and external stakeholders in order to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Support the integration of suppliers into the Airbus Canada and A220 environment, including the development and delivery of training, guidelines and best practices.
  • Provide Operational Support on all Configuration Management processes and tools to all users.
  • Develop a network of collaborators within Airbus, compare ways of doing things, define and apply Airbus standards and best practices, taking into account lessons learned from the A220.
  • Apply and improve Airbus standards and best practices by leveraging lessons learned from the A220.
