JOB DESCRIPTION:
As Cryogenic power electric engineers, you will be part of a multinational team in charge of developing an advanced superconducting and cryogenic powetrain to enable high power electric propulsion systems for aircraft application.
It will be composed of a cryogenic DC/DC converter, a superconducting DC network with protections, a cryogenic motor drive, a superconducting electric motor and a cryogenic cooling system developed with partners from worldwide industry and academia, start-ups in a dynamic and emulating environment.

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Cryogenic power electronic R&T engineer, you will be part of the team in charge of designing, prototyping and testing power electronic converters:
- Develop and characterize cryogenic/superconducting components (power module, drivers, sensors, inductance, capacitors, bus bars…)
- Simulate and design power electronic core,
- Design electronic hardware and EMC filters
- Design control/command software
- Prototype motor drive and integrate it in a cryogenic loop
- Prototype DC/DC converter and integrate it in a cryogenic loop
- Integrate and test it in the cryo/superconducting powertrain
- Evaluate performances and potential of a cryo-inverter for propulsive application
- Drive industrial and academic partners.
