WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Avionics) to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.

THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years experience on Dash 8 Q200, Q300 and Q400 aircraft (or similar type, e.g. turboprop aircraft);
  • Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical) or (Avionics);
  • Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.
  • Strong team player;
  • Ability to follow supervisory direction;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
  • Passion for safe work practices;
  • Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
  • Current Australian Driver’s licence.
  • Valid work visa;
    Shifts will be primarily a rotating 4 on 4 off permanent night shift roster.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;
  • Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;
  • Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;
  • Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment, and;
  • Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.
