Description:

EXPERIENCE

  • Technician will have an education of two (2) years post-high school diploma from an approved aviation training school or equivalent military qualification.
  • Military aviation maintenance experience of ten (10) years and Sikorsky airframe experience of three (3) years.
  • Technician will have a minimum of two (2) years of General Electric engine experience at the organizational or intermediate maintenance level.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a US driver’s license if the selected candidate utilizes company-provided transportation.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs and installs aircraft subsystem assemblies such as engines, and rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, mechanical flight controls, and their components.
  • Services and lubricates aircraft and subsystems.
  • Performs preflight and post-flight inspections.
  • Prepares aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
  • Performs scheduled inspections and assists in performing special inspections.
  • Performs diagnoses and troubleshooting on aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment as required.
  • Prepares forms and records related to aircraft maintenance.
  • Participates in maintenance test flights as required.

  • Removes, replaces, services, prepares, preserves, cleans, and stores engine assemblies or components. Performs limited engine maintenance operational checks.Diagnosed and troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft engines and their components and participated in maintenance test flights as required.
  • Services and lubricates aircraft and subsystems.
  • Performs preflight and post-flight inspections.
  • Prepares aircraft for inspections and maintenance checks.
  • Performs scheduled inspections and assists in performing special inspections.
  • Performs diagnoses and troubleshooting on aircraft subsystems using special tools and equipment as required.
  • Prepares forms and records related to aircraft maintenance.
  • Participates in maintenance test flights as required.
