Description:
The Aircraft Sourcing Executive plays a vital role in securing charter for our inter-company requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplemental lift for Flexjet’s fleet, sourcing aircraft for PrivateFly’s Jet Card as well as providing support to the wider Revenue Management team. The candidate will have fanatical attention to detail and take a long-term approach to supplier relations. Using OneSky’s safety-accredited network, the Aircraft Sourcing Executive will be communicating daily with our operators, negotiating rates, and agreeing on booking terms. The role requires close collaboration with our Client and Owner services teams in addition to our Flexjet and PrivateFly Sales Directors. This inside sales position is full-time based at our Farnborough, UK Office or at our Malta Office. The role is varied, with tasks ranging from booking long range transatlantic charters weeks in advance, to immediate AOG recovery flights, to calculated sell-off in accordance with the flying demand of our customers. - Book and process flying requirements for Flexjet and PrivateFly.
- Work with colleagues to prioritise tasks and find creative solutions to problems.
- Improve aircraft occupancy by marketing empty-legs to colleagues in Europe and the US.
- Provide industry-leading levels of professionalism when communicating with our network of operators.
- Listen to the requirements of our customers’ requests and provide proactive and immediate assistance.
- Calculate quotations promptly and accurately using web-based software, in accordance with our SOPs.
- Negotiate terms of booking with new suppliers to ensure our cancellation policy is not exposed.
- Full administrative sales support, including raising client paperwork and securing payment.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures, with fanatical attention to detail.
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry professionals and suppliers.
- Support business needs as requested by senior managers and leadership.
- Liaise with owner services team on trip details to ensure flight execution.
- Problem-solve for required aircraft changes due to irregular operations with a focus on customer needs and cost ramifications, such as unscheduled maintenance and cancellations.
- Maximization and optimization of the Fleet schedule via the charter market where necessary.
- Work with scheduling, owner services and operations to assist in the recovery of AOG aircraft.
