Description:

An excellent opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and highly motivated person to join the Rex Airport Team as the Airside Trainer (Ground Services/Ramp) for NSW and the ACT. This is a full-time role based in Sydney at the Domestic Terminal 2.
Reporting to the Airside Training Manager, Airport Services - The Airside Service Ground Trainer will be responsible for the training, development and assessment of Ramp and Catering Staff across the NSW hub ports, regional ports and the ACT. This role leads and establishes priorities for the team to ensure ground employees meet or exceed Rex’s objectives for training, safety and compliance, on-time performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitation and delivery of ground operations training in all facets of Ramp duties and aircraft turnaround for Saab 340 and B737 aircraft
  • Ensuring staff are trained to the highest level in accordance with Regional Express standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure staff maintain currency under CASA regulations and company learning and development requirements
  • Ensuring operational compliance by providing appropriate training to staff and contractors at Hub and Rex Regional locations
  • Maintain accurate and up to date Training Records
  • Assist in the development of training programs
  • Complete paperwork and administrative requirements of the Ground Training Department in a timely manner
  • Assist in the development of training programs
  • Other tasks as requested by the Ground Training and Development Manager.
