REQUIREMENTS

The right candidate has the following experience and knowhow

• Relevant technical education, e.g. as master machinist. (Bachelor in Technology Management, and Marine Engineering.)
• Familiarity with machine maintenance and repair
• Experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving of machines
• Experience with execution of functional and environmental test
• Ability to analyze and optimize machine processes
• Understanding of technical specifications and requirements for machines
• Hands-on experience working with various types of machines and test equipment
• Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings and documentation
• Experience with handling electronical products
• Experience in report making.
• Some experience with C and Python – in Linux environment
• Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
• Written and spoken English on a professional level
• Organizational skills, detail-oriented

• Experience in clean room activities

• Vibration Machine knowledge

For our Delivery Engineering Department in our Programs Business Unit, we a looking for AIV Test Technician. As AIV Test Technician at GomSpace, you will play a crucial role in delivering nanosatellites and microsatellites to customers. You will be our expert in the machine park that we use to test the satellites. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful environmental test of components in our satellite platforms.
Our Programs Business Unit focuses on delivering nanosatellites and microsatellites to commercial customers, governmental agencies, space industry partners and academic institutions. As AIV Test Technician in the Programs Business Unit you will be involved in satellite projects executing and supporting the assembly, integration and testing in our clean room facilities.

Key responsibilities Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Execute the tests on satellites, e.g.
• Temperature and vacuum chamber tests
• Vibration tests
• Execute full functional tests on satellites.
• Make test reports of performed tests
• Debug deviating test results
• Adjust test script
• Perform maintenance on test equipment
• Participate in assembly of satellites
