Alcohol & Drug Counsellor

• Limited Tenure 5 days per week until late May 2025
• Based in Werribee with flexible working (based on program need)
• Delivering a broad range of community adult based Alcohol & other Drug treatment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Tertiary qualifications to Bachelor or Diploma level in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or Behavioural Sciences or equivalent.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• A salary at SCHADS level 5 which equates to around $94,000 plus super.
• Flexible through the increments up to 5.3 (dependent upon experience)

Anglicare Victoria delivers in partnership with Odyssey House Victoria and UnitingCare Regen a broad range of community adult based Alcohol and other Drug treatment across South West Melbourne. We provide Assessment, Counselling and Care & Recovery Co-ordination. The program is co-located with Odyssey House Victoria and the position will be supported by the clinical Coordinator of the South West Melbourne catchment as well as the Anglicare Team Leader and leadership team. In this current role you will be providing AOD counselling and assessment.
