Role Summary:
The Alliance Engineer supports the Lifecycle Advantage (LCA) contracts within assigned site(s) in accordance with the defined LCA Program. This position is situated in Mendoza, Argentina. You will work on metrics, deliverables and assure great LCA performance on site by supporting the daily requirements of operations as defined by the governing LCA Contract.
Responsibilities:
Lead LCA programs to standards of safety in accordance with Flowserve policies.
Lead the design and implementation of sealing solutions to meet customer needs and improve seal life.
Perform mechanical seal failure analysis and produce reports accordingly.
Provide recommendations to improve equipment reliability.
Act as the primary source of information regarding the design, application, installation, and operation of mechanical seals.
Carry out reliability walkabouts in diferent customer´s unit and generate reports accordingly.
Troubleshoot seal and seal systems operating in the Customer site(s).
Oversee the seal upgrade process; including measurement, design, delivery, installation and operation.
Complete training and assigned initiatives to develop your career
Use of mandatory tools and softwares designed by Flowserve to develop daily activities
Bring support to sales department regarding to Mechanical seal orders out of LCA contracts, failure analysis, etc
Bring capacitation to staff of YPF Refenery according to subject and defined scheduled
Requirements:
Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering (Electromechanical, Mechanical or Industrial) or equivalent experience with 2+ years relevant industry experience or demonstrated capability (Mechanical Seal and seal Systems experience preferred)
Can demonstrate firm organizational skills.
Have good written and speaking communication with customer.
Available to local travels by company vehicle or plane (occasionally)
High proficiency in project management tools, software and concepts.
Have a high standard PC skills and experience with Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred Skills:
Intermediate English
