The Role
Our dentsu EMEA MarComms team is looking for an Alliances & Partner Marketing Manager to support the delivery of our partner marketing strategy across our practice areas including Creative, CXM and media.
This is an exciting role for an experienced marketing professional who is used to working across multiple technology partners and developing/overseeing the execution of a marketing strategy across brand and commercial activity.
Reporting to the Head of Communications, EMEA, the role is supported on the delivery of the strategy by brand, commercial and content marketing managers based across EMEA. You will own the calendar of activity across events, thought leadership, lead gen and brand campaigns across multiple partners to support pipeline and brand building among our partners, the industry and within our own organisation. Working closely with our wider EMEA marketing team and partner and alliances growth team to drive our integrated growth strategy.
You will work collaboratively across our EMEA (UK, DACH, NE, and Spain) to drive centralised marketing activity to support regional business with our key partners, driving consistency and efficiency across regional campaigns that support our partner relationships and build our brand.
This role ensures that commercial and brand marketing is joined up across the full client journey to drive brand recognition and demand generation. You will also support collaboration with the global and regional teams to support consistency across our business, and you will liaise with the wider dentsu marketing team, to leverage, co-create and align marketing to support cross-sell and growth.
Life as an Alliances & Partner Marketing Manager
Marketing strategy
Working with the Partner and Alliances Growth team and collaborating with EMEA marketing leads, develop a plan that supports our marketing to partners, industry and key stakeholders across dentsu, to drive brand recognition and incremental revenue.
Support the execution, with support from across the in-market marketing teams, across brand and commercial activity to drive lead gen and support partner growth.
Liaise with global/regional teams to support the creation and sharing of content and to drive cross-sell and awareness.
Leverage our global & in-market thought leadership and value propositions (i.e. CX imperatives, etc) to accelerate growth.
Work with our Partner and Alliances growth teams to secure sponsorship through proactive and collaborative partner planning to support ongoing marketing activity and drive revenue and positive ROI.
Marketing activation
Own our partner event strategy/calendar and support the wider partner marketing team in executing successful events with measurable outcomes and the appropriate governance.
Contribute monthly, quarterly and annual reviews as part of the EMEA marketing team to show what’s working and where we can better optimise our approach
Monitor our lead gen activity and brand score to drive success
Support and measure our partner relations to position dentsu as the first choice for partnerships.
Working closely with the client, growth and partner/alliances leads, be responsible for our partner and alliances event attendance to support pipeline, build our brand and develop relationships with key partners.
Work with partner marketing teams to develop joint marketing activity across the region, driving efficiency and consistency across our regional clusters, building relationships, and supporting collaboration.
Develop and execute marketing activity (i.e. webinars, newsletters, channel activation, branding, etc) in collaboration with the wider UK&I marketing team to drive awareness with our partners to key audiences.
Collaborating with EMEA External comms lead, develop proactive and reactive comms and PR to support our partner practice growth strategies.
Work with Brand marketing team to ensure appropriate brand architecture and go-to-market, and be a brand advocate for all the dentsu brands.
What we are looking for in you:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and exemplify leadership and composure under pressure, while maintaining high morale
Strong programme management skills and ability to manage a busy calendar of activity across events, comms and campaigns, coordinating delivery across departments and markets
Experience with platform partners, and digital marketing experience from a vendor/agency/client perspective preferred
Experience of internal stakeholder management within a matrix organisation
Performance and data focused with a keen eye for creativity
Experience in working with global and regional teams and aligning calendars
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a clear understanding of campaign strategy
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work closely with very senior stakeholders with the ability to remain calm and professional under rapidly changing circumstances
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
Excellent commercial acumen and budget management experience
Must be a team player but also able to work with limited day-to-day supervision
