ABOUT THE ROLE

Our business is expanding and growing on the Central Coast with a new service opening in the Woy Woy/ Ettalong area. We are now seeking an Allied Health Assistant to work at our new Memory Innovations Centre. This centre aims to improve quality of life, wellbeing, and support cognition for older Australians. The programs we run focus on having fun, connecting with others, and stimulating the brain.
You will be responsible for implementing and facilitating group programs, and other related tasks, under the guidance of an Allied Health Professional.
This exciting opportunity is a fixed term contract to the end of June 2025 working initially for 1 day per week with the opportunity for additional hours as the business expands.

We know that changing roles is a big decision – so here is what we can offer you:

  • Salary packaging – also known as salary sacrifice - means allocating a portion of your salary to pay certain expenses before income tax is calculated. So, on pay day you pay less income tax and have more money for the things that matter.
  • A focus on employee well-being, with regular reflective/practice supervision opportunities.
  • Access to a training platform covering topics such as, manual handling, infection control etc.
  • Employee Assistance Program offering free and confidential counselling and support
