EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
- Able to organise, prioritise tasks and manage time well in order to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrates logical analysis and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrates good listening, written and oral communication skills to effectively and clearly communicate.
- Able to build and maintain productive relationships within team environment.
- Advanced PC and associated application skills in MS Word and Excel.
- Show ability or aptitude in retail math, and to learn technical applications quickly.
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
We are looking for an Allocator to join our Merchandising team in our Marylebone office. You will be responsible for optimising the flow of stock through the business to DTC channels by means of replenishment and allocation, ensuring products are in the right places to fully optimise sell through. You will also assist the merchandising team with weekly, seasonal and ad-hoc analysis; and establish yourself as the key point of contact for the stores.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produce packs for Monday trade meetings, review best sellers and category sales. Highlight slow selling products and recommend trade actions to be taken.
- Attend key meetings to understand season performance as well as forward strategies.
- Update and monitor daily sales for DTC locations.
- Review store capacities weekly to identify potential opportunities and risks, based on floor plans and replenishment.
- Weekly meeting with store managers to receive inventory feedback and agree on actions. Establish yourself as the key point of contact for stores.
- Weekly Store visits to gain insight to performance and availability of inventory.
- Assist and work within the merchandising team to support season planning and buying and implementation of stock strategies.
- Maximise both stock availability through best use of auto replenishment and allocation. Make sure auto replenishment is running as planned for each store.
- Monitor and regularly update minimum stock levels for auto replenishment according to the sales plans to ensure accurate replenishments.
- Monitor intake into the business in line with new season launch and notify of any risks.
- Communicate initial season allocations and replenishment strategies to stakeholders.
- Prepare initial season allocations and new season launch in line with merchandising allocation plans and store ranging.
- Implement stock consolidations process between store locations and warehouse, ensuring all instructed product is removed from stores within the set time frame.
- Monitor and ensure full size availability of best sellers, continuity lines and seasonal products in stores to maximise sell through. Identify potential out of stocks, size imbalances and areas of opportunity.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships within other team (stores, ecommerce, production, design etc.)
