Your new role

Your responsibility In Middle Office Alpha:

  • Providing primary support for operational team (BAU) support, client onboarding and change related projects
  • Maintaining operations for all aspects of trade confirmation and settlement across multiple products (Forex Exchange, cash, equity, fixed income, money market and more)
  • Cooperating with clients, brokers, custodians, fund accountants, various internal stakeholders and other third parties
  • Acting as senior escalation point and subject matter expert for middle office related inquires
  • Managing direct risk factors (operational and financial) through claims management, investigation and ownership over remediation strategies
  • Playing key part in performance governance through KPI/KRI management, client relationship management (Service Level reviews)
  • Participating in new business on-boarding process
  • Solutioning third party claims management and liability recommendations for Senior Management

  • Deep understanding of various financial instruments including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and structured products.
  • Proficiency in trade capture, trade confirmation, settlements, and reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and practices, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk.
  • Familiarity with relevant financial regulations such as Dodd-Frank, EMIR, MiFID II, and other regional regulations.
  • Understanding of with transaction management infrastructure and interlinks (Bloomberg, CRD, DTCC, SWIFT.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and the use of analytical tools.
  • Ability to create, analyze, and interpret reports, with proficiency in tools like Excel, VBA, SQL, and business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) would be a nice to have
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or similar, for automation and data processing tasks.
  • Understanding of industry best practices and emerging trends in transaction management and middle office operations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and coordinate with various departments (e.g., Front Office, IT, Compliance).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex transaction issues.
  • Strong client service orientation and the ability to handle client inquiries and issues professionally.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in mentoring or guiding junior analysts.
