Description:

GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:

Assist in the analysis of regulated and unregulated private equity, real estate and other alternative structures and assessment of legal documentation required to fulfill depositary duties. Work closely with colleagues from the legal and operations department. Interaction with other State Street offices. Assists colleagues from sales and client relationship management as subject matter expert in client meetings and presentations as well as in presentations to senior management and in day to day management of the client relationship. Implement new processes and continuously seek efficiencies and improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Academic Qualification: Bac + 4

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • English (fluent, spoken and in writing).
  • Other languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform the analysis of private equity, real estate and other alternative structures introduced by clients and determine the required operational controls.
  • Determine and assess relevant legal documentation on multi-domicile alternative structures operating out of Luxembourg such as private placement memorandum, share purchase agreements, corporate and financing documents, title deeds and similar.
  • Assess other relevant information on alternative structures relating to transactions and cash flows.
  • Perform the depositary on the oversight tasks, in line with AIFMD.
  • Review processes and seek efficiencies and contribute to the implementation of new processes and systems.Ability to work independently.
