Aluminium Designer Drafter

OUR COMPANY:

We specialize in aluminium windows and doors, shower screens and other glass related products. We are looking for a meticulous and motivated aluminium designer/drafter to join our team. You will play a key role in delivering high quality solutions to our customers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Responsible, with good organizational and communication skills
• Meticulous and comfortable with using technology
• Team player with positive attitude; willing to learn
• Good problem-solving ability
• Open to picking up new software and technology (ERP, CRM)
• Possess aluminium and glass knowledge and/or building industry knowledge

1. Design & Drafting:

• Design aluminium and glass solutions (For windows, doors, etc.)
• Creating cutting details/Bill of Materials (BOM) for fabrication and material purchase
• Drafting of shop drawings (e.g. autocad)
• Create purchase orders for required materials
• Attend site meetings or visits (if required)

1. Operations & Scheduling

• Manage daily rostering of work teams
• Oversee fabrication work and overall project coordination
• Conduct daily team briefings and toolbox meetings
• Support work teams as necessary
• Supervise stock monitoring and material orders
