Description:
The City AMHT is a wonderful team to work in and this role offers an opportunity to develop senior clinical and leadership skills. Tom, Kelly, Naomi and Heather, the Team managers are committed to the wellbeing and development of the staff working in the AMHT and offer opportunities to engage in training courses and develop senior clinical and leadership skills. Your normal working week will be Monday to Friday 9:00-17:00, although this post includes duty manager shifts up to twice a month which will require working either an early (07:00 15:00 or a late shift (13:00 21:00) which can be any day of the week (Mon Sun). Other services run 24/7 and there may be a requirement to occasionally cover.
We will consider part time hours in which a job share arrangement can be accommodated. The post holder will work within the Adult Mental Health Team (AMHT) with responsibility for a Sub-team as Deputy Team Manager and a clinical lead. As part of your role you will be on the duty senior rota for the AMHT, which involves close liaison with the patient flow team for those requiring inpatient admission. You will work within your professional scope of practice.
Providing clinical leadership, managerial and clinical supervision and role modelling. You will have proven abilities as a deputy manager in a variety of settings; this should include a strong understanding of recovery-based community approaches and leadership skills. The job role is very varied and offers the opportunity to champion the recovery of service users, whilst working alongside highly experienced and motivated colleagues
