EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Client Engagement & Support on AML/CTF & ECDD investigations
  • Minimum 6months experience with Accuity software or similar screening software highly regarded but not essential.
  • Knowledge of AML/CTF legislation and obligations from a financial services perspective
  • Experience in high volume administrative/reporting processing environment
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within AML/CTF environment.
  • Ability to build to deliver on key operational targets and service levels and plan, prioritise and adapt work to align with organisational goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and methodologies.
  • Strong quality assurance and staff development focus..
  • Proven capabilities within the Accuity and or other PEP, Sanction and adverse media screening software
  • Knowledge of AML/CTF legislation and obligations from a financial services perspective
  • Experience in high volume processing environment
  • Prove admin experience Confidence to make decisions based on defined criteria
  • AML/TM reporting experience

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The AML/CTF Analyst role is required to assist with existing PEP assessments and corporate market clients, utilising PEP, Sanction & Adverse Media screening software. The AML/CTF Analyst will also perform a wide range of complex and in-depth AML/CTF intelligence activities including due diligence, vetting, and screening using 3rd party software as well as detailed open-source reviews, detailed source of wealth / source of fund reviews, PEP and network analysis reviews, in support of MUFG AML/CTF procedure/Program. This role also covers Client Engagement & Support on AML/CTF process and investigations.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Review case files in Accuity software to determine false positive/potential match/full match based on match criteria.
Ensure all decisions are recorded accurately within the Accuity software.
Implement and imbed any Service Excellence initiatives to improve quality, performance, and efficiency of the teams to facilitate best practice Fraud Mitigation and client reporting.
The Financial Crimes team interacts with governance and risk areas both internally and with our clients and require a sound knowledge of superannuation and Fraud/ AML/CTF legislation.
