We are looking for a dynamic AML/KYC Analyst (f/m/d) to join our AML/KYC Operations Team. In this multifaceted role you will support the European sales team with the onboarding of new clients (Distributors, Asset Managers, Central Banks, Institutional clients). You will review KYC files and AML procedures and assess regulatory issues concerning AML requirements including client/ investor account opening, names screening, customer and Distributor Due Diligence. You will perform gap analyses and identify AML and Compliance/ Regulatory issues compared to the laws and regulations in force. You will develop strong technical/ industry knowledge of key business processes such as customer/ investor account opening, on-going due diligence measures.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) research for customers, as part of the group-wide Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Terrorist Financing (CTF) policies and procedures
- Analyse customer information and documents according to the prescribed internal policies and procedures
- Complete the necessary workflow tasks in the Customer Due Diligence Repository (“CDDR” system) during the customer onboarding process and periodic reviews in a timely manner
- Bring together the necessary information according to the global standard and jurisdictional requirements against the customer’s KYC profile based on the calculated KYC due diligence level – simplified, standard, or enhanced
- Execute and review sanctions, PEPs and adverse media alerts from customer screening during the customer onboarding process and advance where necessary
- Package the Customer Due Diligence research and documentation (the “KYC profile”) for review by the Client Account Management
- Meet production target volumes and dates as advised
- Communicate with Compliance, the Business and other employees as required to complete the Customer Due Diligence process
- Ensure all activities are in line with AllianzGI Procedures
